World-class musicians and neurologist promote healing through music

Learn about the healing power of music at Physician-Musician: An Experiential Journey through Music and Medicine, a one-of-a-kind event benefitting Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition on Saturday, September 17, at Christ Church Cathedral, 318 E. 4th St., Cincinnati.

Well-known musicians Mike Garson, best known as David Bowie’s piano man, and Drew Tretick, a Juilliard-trained violinist with an international résumé, will perform as neurologist and mind-body medicine pioneer Barry Bittman, MD, explains how music affects us at the DNA level. The event is presented by Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition, Yamaha Music and Wellness Institute, and Christ Church Cathedral.

The cost for the evening is $100, and includes the performance, reception, and silent auction. Additional sponsors include Episcopal Retirement Services, Maple Knoll, and Eagle Realty Group.
