The Meadows Senior Housing
The Meadows, an equal opportunity campus, is a HUD subsidized building for seniors only, ages 62 and over.
At The Meadows, your rent includes all basic utilities such as air conditioning, heat, electric, trash, water, and more. Telephone and cable service is provided at the resident’s own expense.
To qualify for residency individuals must meet the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines. Rent is based on income and each resident is required to pay 30% of his or her adjusted annual income. All information will be verified.
The Meadows Apartments
All apartments feature an open floor plan concept with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining area. Heat and air conditioning are individually controlled within the apartment. Our apartments are laid out just like the diagram to the right or the mirror image of the floorplan.
The Meadows is a smoke free facility.
Pets
We are a pet friendly campus. Cats and small dogs under 30 pounds are welcome. A pet deposit is required and can be paid over several months in installments as low as $10 per month. The pet deposit is refundable according to the community pet policy.
Common Areas
The Meadows features a neighborhood feel. Residents are welcome to utilize any of the common areas to socialize, play the piano, use the big screen TV, work on a puzzle, or play games with their neighbors. The F and G buildings each have a single, large public balcony on the 4th floor.
Laundry
Laundry facilities are available on each apartment floor. Each laundry room features two washers and two dryers which are coin operated and priced well below market rate.
Parking
On-site parking is available. All residents are free to have a car on campus as long as the car is functional and fully insured, as required by law.
Storage Space
Each unit has four closets including an entry way coat closet, a walk-in storage closet, a linen closet, and a large bedroom closet.
