Meals on Wheels
Our goal for Meals on Wheels is to help clients remain independent longer and with dignity.
Volunteers deliver thousands of meals through the Meals On Wheels program, Monday through Friday. As the elderly population continues to grow, so does the need for Meals on Wheels services in the Cincinnati suburbs. Fewer older adults are getting the nutrients they need to sustain healthy, productive lived. Whether it is dues to an inability to prepare meals, shop for groceries, or a lack of outside support, it is comforting to know assistance is available to them when they need it. The Meals on Wheels program expanded to serve an average of 265 clients per month with 72,986 meals throughout the year. Frozen meals are proved for weekends.
Meals are available on a donation or a private pay basis. To arrange home delivered meals, call (513) 686-1003 or email our Outreach Coordinator.

How does Meals on Wheels Work?
Our Savory Selects Clients will need to complete 5 brand New Menus and return them to MKOSS. We are required to submit your orders one week in advance. We know that some seniors find this difficult to do each week. Therefore, we request you to fill out 5 menus and we will assume the responsibility of rotating them on your behalf. You can change or update your menus at any time by mail or by calling us. By receiving your orders this way, we can be sure we send you the food you want without you having to turn in an order each week. We like to make things as easy as possible for our clients.

Why 5 Menus?
Sometimes there is a fifth week in a month. We only use the fifth week menu if necessary, but it’s easier for us to have this on file for you and helps you make sure you get food you like to eat.
If you want the same food delivered each week, that’s ok! Just fill out one menu and return it. If you only want to fill out two, that’s ok as well. The idea is that we will rotate whatever you give us so that we can make this service as easy as possible for you.
If you ever want to make any changes to your menu just give us a call. Please note, changes take at least one week to go in effect as we must have our orders to the caterer one week in advance.
If you need assistance in completing your menus, ask family members or friends for help. If do not have anyone to assist you, please contact us at 513.686.1003 and we will be glad to help out.
We hope having these choices will make your meals a little more enjoyable.

Village Home Health and Hospice
As more and older adults wish to age in place, the need for quality home healthcare and hospice continues to grow. Meeting these unique needs of seniors and their families with the personal attention and compassion they deserve is paramount. In order to meet these needs, Village Home Health and Hospice partnered with Ohio Living, headquartered in Columbus, to form Ohio Living Village Home Health & Hospice.
The partnership, which began on July 1, of 2020, allowed Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice, to expand to serve older adults residing in Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Preble and Warren counties. Services will continue to provide skilled home health and hospice care to countless older adults throughout the state of Ohio.
